How to play Hit the Bear

Bears pop out of the nine burrows for a moment. Tap each one before it disappears back underground.
Brown bears are worth 10 points. Golden bears with a crown are worth 50 and give you 3 extra seconds (or an extra life in Endless).
Watch out for angry bees! Tapping one costs you 5 seconds, or a life in Endless mode.
Hit 5 bears in a row to start a combo: your points multiply up to ×5. Missing a bear or tapping an empty burrow resets it.
In 60 seconds mode, score as much as you can before the clock runs out. In Endless, every bear that escapes costs a life, and you start with 3.

Keep your thumb near the middle of the board. It's the shortest reach to every burrow.
Bees stay up a little longer than bears, so a quick glance before tapping saves your combo.
Always chase golden bears: the extra time or life is worth more than the points.
The game speeds up as it goes, with more bears at once. Stay calm and tap one at a time.

Is Hit the Bear like whack-a-mole?

Yes. It's a whack-a-mole style reflex game, with bears instead of moles plus golden bears, bees and combo multipliers to make it more fun.

Can kids play Hit the Bear?

Yes. It's friendly, cartoon-style fun with no violence, no ads and no chat. Great for improving reaction speed.

Does it work on a computer?

Yes. Click the bears with a mouse, or use the number keys 1–9, which match the burrow layout like a keypad.
