PlagomoHow to play Match the Tiles
- Tiles are stacked in layers. Only tiles that aren't covered by another tile are bright and can be tapped.
- Tap a tile to move it into the tray at the bottom. Matching tiles line up next to each other.
- Collect three of the same tile and they clear from the tray.
- Clear every tile to finish the level. If all 7 tray slots fill up without a match, the level is lost.
- Stuck? Undo sends your last tile back, and Shuffle mixes the remaining tiles. You get one of each per level.
Tips and strategy
- Before tapping, look for a set of three you can complete right away.
- Uncover tiles on the top layers first. They hide the tiles you'll need later.
- Try not to have more than two or three different tiles waiting in the tray at once.
Questions
Is every level solvable?
Yes. Each level is generated by working backwards from an empty board, so there's always a way to clear it.
How many levels are there?
Levels never run out. Each one adds more tiles, more tile types and more layers, up to five layers deep.
Is this like Mahjong?
It's a relative of Mahjong solitaire: tiles are stacked in layers and only uncovered ones can be picked. Instead of pairs, you match three of a kind in a tray.
